Резюме:This research provided an in-depth analysis of how Financial Management influences the profitability of the cooperative, which employed a mixed methodology combining quantitative and qualitative methods, including a detailed analysis of the financial statements, an interview of the chief financial officer and surveys of credit counselors. This approach provided a comprehensive view of the cooperative's financial management and identified areas for improvement to increase its profitability and long-term sustainability. When applying the analysis of the financial ratios, it became evident that the economic profitability reveals a low asset efficiency, showing a lack of profitability due to high expenses. Return on equity indicates a relatively low percentage and profitability generated a net profit margin of 2.64% based on revenues. These results point to key areas that impact the cooperative's profitability and suggest the need to improve financial management to optimize the use of resources and generate higher profits. Finally, it is essential to implement sound and efficient practices in Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito "San José" Ltda., which implies establishing clear policies to improve the allocation of resources and promote an organizational culture oriented towards continuous improvement, encouraging the active participation of employees.
