| Περίληψη: | Community tourism is currently an important source of economic income, generation of employment sources, and local development. This project called "Strategies to promote tourism that allow economic reactivation in the community of Paquiestancia, canton Cayambe, province of Pichincha, year 2022" is developed with the purpose of establishing actions that allow the improvement of the tourist activity of the community. The research collected information from primary and secondary sources and field trips, where the current situation of the community and the resources they have to attract tourists were analyzed and known. The methodology used in the research project is descriptive research since this type of research allowed describing the most relevant characteristics of the study area, field research was also brought to collect the greatest amount of real information from the Paquiestancia community to know the tourist offer and the current state of the attractions, and the bibliographical research to review various documentary sources and research carried out, related to the subject that were necessary to understand and comprehend each of the theories for the development of the research project.
