| Summary: | This study aims to develop Methodological Strategies to improve the verbal language of children first year of Basic Education of the school "Carlos Matamoros Jara" of the Naranjito canton, province of Guayas school period 2018-2019. The study is a qualitative-quantitative research, with a descriptive and explanatory aproach, as well as a bibliographic and field modality. The present study involves 72 stundents with an average age of 5 years from three parallels. In order to determine the contribution of the application of methodological strategies for the development of verbal language, a test-restest methodology was used, through the application of the Verbal Development Scales of the Neuropsychological Maturity Questionnaire for Children (CUMANIN) before and after the implementation of the guide developed in this research, which consists of five planned activities. The initial results indicate that 63.9% of the participants were below the average (centil) and needed periodic observations and evaluation when maintaining percentiles lower than 40. After the methodological intervention, 15% of the participants show slightly by below the average (centil) and 0% of students reflecting centiles under 40 points. It is concluded that the methodological strategies for the development of verbal language do strengthen verbal development significantly t = -6.911; p <0.001. In addition, significant differences in verbal development between children directed by different teachers cease, that is, it eliminates differences in development by parallels and establishes a development above average with an average M (retest) = 62.08.
