Sažetak:The general objective of this work is to determine the work environment of the Municipal GAD of the San José de Chimbo canton, Bolívar province, through internal communication strategies. To achieve this, a bibliographic, field and descriptive methodology was proposed, with a quantitative and qualitative approach. Through the survey technique, information was collected, as well as the different interviews carried out. For its part, the selected population was 122 Municipal GAD officials. The main results show that there is a need to implement measures that strengthen the connection between management and staff, in addition, the work environment in work departments is an aspect that presents challenges, since the majority does not perceive an effective initiative. On the other hand, the frequency of training should be increased to strengthen the continuous development of skills and improve overall job performance. Regarding the hypothesis, the surveys, interviews and observation sheets carried out reveal the existence of challenges in internal communication and the perception that there are areas for improvement. Finally, it is concluded that, after analyzing internal communication in the Municipal GAD, substantial challenges are evident, which is why an internal communication plan is recommended that guides and enhances the activities of the institution.
