Cordero Crespo Canton Guaranda Health Center in the period December 2022 - April 2023, aims to develop the nursing process applied to the health strategy 1000 days in the aforementioned health establishment, applying a quantitative approach of a descriptive, field and cross-sectional design; A bibliographical review was carried out with the use of different academic search engines in order to address the 1000 days health strategy from a perspective within the prevention and reduction of child chronic malnutrition based on three axes: nutrition and health, protection and stimulation of children. which must be attended from pregnancy, birth, from 0 to 6 months and from 6 to 24 months to achieve adequate growth and development of the child. The data was collected in person from a sample of seven nursing professionals to identify the activities carried out in the 1000-day health strategy using a questionnaire as an instrument for collecting information; Once analyzed, a high percentage of activities provided by education and health promotion was evidenced to prevent risks and possible complications that affect the health and life of either the mother or the child. Finally, a nursing process is designed as an instrument that contributes to the work of nursing professionals in the 1000 days health strategy, which reflects the activities that must be carried out to strengthen the promotion of the health of the mother-child pair.
