Özet:A comparative study of open source ERP systems was carried out to automate processes and activities carried out within the administrative management of human talent where it was determined that the difference between open source ERP systems is considerable, since these systems, being open source, can be modifiable and adaptable according to the needs of the organization, which is why they are defined as flexible systems with functionalities suitable to cover the different needs within the existing areas within the organization. Therefore, to carry out this research, an exploratory methodology was applied along with a type of bibliographic research to more broadly cover the positive aspects that these ERP systems can offer within SMEs, a mixed approach was taken to be able to capture the needs that presented by the company's workers in general. Through the study carried out, the needs presented within the human resources area were evaluated and after the evaluation of the candidate ERP systems, the best option called OrangeHRM was chosen since it is an open source software, user-friendly and efficient in solving current needs within the area of human talent since its focus is purely for this area. For this reason, it is advisable to carry out exhaustive research on the Open source ERP systems available on the market to choose the one that best suits the needs of the organization, along with advancing this process with an expert in the area.
