Description
Summary:The present investigation refers to dyslexia, in the second year of Elementary Basic Education of the ¨Angel Polibio Chaves¨ Educational Unit, where we generally perceive this learning problem that affects boys and girls with normal intellectual development, because it is here where the shortcomings of dyslexia are detected and that are not shown according to the pedagogical functions that correspond to the given age of the child. Where teachers detect these characteristics around reading, writing and if the proper use of teaching tools is given, this problem will be surmountable. It is important that teachers and parents have knowledge about the symptoms and causes that induce dyslexia so that they are a fundamental support in the learning of boys and girls. Each child must be treated individually since not all cases use the same tools, techniques, methods to overcome this difficulty. This research proposes a didactic tool that will help parents, teachers and students, who have dyslexia problems, where it will be possible to strengthen the self-esteem of students so that they feel capable of learning and correcting their mistakes. Finally, we worked with a population of 58 people including students, parents and teachers. As a way to help with the problem, a didactic tool (Booklet) has been developed. The methodology used in this project will be of great benefit to reach the collection of data where the appropriate measurement instruments were applied
