| Riassunto: | This research is based on teaching strategy area learning language and literature for the promotion of skills with performance criteria in the 7th year students basic school joint fiscal "Luis Noboa Naranjo" windows of the canton, province of rivers, period 2011 to 2012 . In the present work is spoken of as transcend grade teaching strategies and skills with the performance criterion is only intended to be an alternative solution to this difficulty that exists in the Schools of the surrounding areas of Canton, in particular and the Luis Noboa Naranjo school code 12H01084, where teaching strategies influence the learning of language and literature in promoting skills with performance criteria students are pointing out the weaknesses and difficulties of knowledge to be addressed in the study . The limitations on strategies to develop skills, is the lack of criteria and evaluation indicators, considered this makes a determination as a starting point in developing the research. Learning is knowing how to be and live within the personal and social training of students takes on particular significance in the process of permanent change complexity and attitudes. So teaching work has to be developed as a processing task supported by a prospective thinking and action in the ongoing investigation of it, with a task, awakens the adaptation of information technology and communication to human values to sustainable development. Students which allowed us to identify the reality of a problem of teaching because it has tried to fight long and so far not achieved awareness among teachers using active methods and techniques appropriate to achieve the desired levels overcome. The success of the teacher is not alone in the years of academic experience, but also in the realm of theories, methods, techniques and instruments, to provide greater contact between the pair academic didactic teacher-speaker and vice versa. The identified fit the environment in which education develops in classrooms with students of the Joint Public School "Luis Noboa Naranjo" code 12Ho1084 the answer to the problem left over the lack of importance by the teachers about the teaching strategies inlearning that their introduction is unknown at the time of application, also pose the general and specific objectives, these have a high level of validity, reliability and enforceability to achieve scope and measurement, testing the hypothesis, allowed us to determine the two variables were operationalized.
