Description
Summary:The objective of this study was to design a technology integration system for sustainable production in the company Hilandería Intercomunal in the parish of Salinas, canton of Guaranda, province of Bolívar. A mixed methodology was used, combining field, bibliographic and descriptive research, with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Interviews and surveys were applied to key actors in the company, allowing information to be obtained on the sustainable technologies implemented and their impact. As a result, deficiencies were identified in energy efficiency, water management, waste management and use of polluting inputs. In response, an integrated system of sustainable technologies was designed with four components: (1) water management through the reuse and collection of rainwater; (2) energy efficiency with the installation of solar panels and replacement of machinery; (3) waste management through separation and reuse of textile by-products; and (4) replacement of polluting inputs with biodegradable dyes. An economic analysis was carried out that determined the viability of the proposal in terms of investment and financial return. It is concluded that the integration of sustainable technologies optimizes the use of resources and minimizes the environmental impact of the spinning mill, promoting more efficient and responsible production. The gradual implementation of the system is recommended, accompanied by training for staff.
