La gestión administrativa del GAD Municipal del Cantón San Miguel y su impacto en el desarrollo socioeconómico de los habitantes del cantón, año 2017

Through this research project, the Administrative Management of the Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government of the San Miguel de Bolívar Canto and its impact on the socioeconomic development of the inhabitants of the Canton is studied in order to determine how the administration of the GADM is complying with the projects established in the San Miguel de Bolívar Development and Land Management Plan and meet the needs of the population and promote their social and economic development. For this investigation a study of the problems that afflict the population was carried out, and if these have been satisfied, we sought to determine the level of benefit and satisfaction that the inhabitants have in general and who have been benefited with the different works executed by the Municipality. A study of the Administrative Management was also made to identify the type of organization that the Municipality has, the type of planning that they carry out for the execution of the different works, to know the participation of the citizens in the elaboration of plans, projects or programs for the different parishes, communities and neighborhoods that make up the canton and how these plans are made with the presence of the GAD authorities. To fulfill this purpose we use a survey addressed to the inhabitants of the Canton to know if they have benefited from public works projects planned and requested by the community determined what level of attention and compliance is given to them in order to improve the level of life of the population of the Canton, for which it was necessary to know what problems they had before having these works and what benefits they have now after the realization of the projects in the sector where they live; This allowed us to know the social impact of people, allowing us to know what the greatest social benefits that the inhabitants of the Canton have had, these being mainly the reduction of diseases due to the benefits generated by the works such as the improvement of drinking water systems. that reduces the diseases caused by the consumption of contaminated water, also allowed them to remodel the houses and that the price of them will increase, among other works carried out by the GAD that has generated many other benefits to people. As a greater economic benefit, we found that the citizens had more time to be able to dedicate themselves to other activities that generate greater economic income, they also saved their money by reducing illnesses and investing this savings in other needs such as better nutrition. So also through the interview with the authorities of GADM-SMB we find that the administration of the institution has improved in recent years because they now have a more coordinated administration and organization to comply with the planning and execution of works that benefit to the population counting on a program schedule that is fulfilled as planned; This research allowed us to determine that the GAD to improve its management for the benefit of social and economic development of the population does not have a system of evaluation, monitoring and monitoring of the works planned and executed, which makes it difficult to control and fulfill the projects already in turn identifies the errors that may arise and Keywords: Administrative Management, impact, development, socioeconomic
