| সংক্ষিপ্ত: | ABSTRACT Introduction: This research work addresses post-surgical care in a comprehensive and intercultural way, since the care provided by nursing staff must be based on the situation that arises, addressing the social, cultural and religious contexts of each one. of their patients, in this way to be able to integrate them and develop strategies to apply said care, unifying it with their own and standardized care after surgery, appendectomy is a surgical procedure that is performed as a treatment for acute appendicitis is one of the pathologies with a higher incidence of hospital care for acute abdominal symptoms. Objective: To describe the perception of cultural and comprehensive care in the post-surgical period of appendectomized patients. Method: The methodology used was cross-sectional, descriptive of the field, with the participation of 20 hospital users, a questionnaire was used to obtain the information and through the program that the results were tabulated, which were presented through tables and graphs. Conclusions: Regarding the assessment of integrity and respect for culture by the nursing staff, most of the participants responded positively, associating a good quality of care after leaving the operating room, in the same way regarding the use of appropriate language, regarding whether the nursing staff met the needs of the patient and provided humanized care while respecting their own cultures, was also valued as if in most cases.
