Summary:The research work starts from a problem present in the children of the first year of Basic Education of an Educational Institution, so it indicates the causes and consequences that occur in teaching-learning. It is latent not to have a reading corner with recycled material at home to develop verbal linguistic intelligence in the meaningful learning of students. The most significant difficulty is the lack of reading corners at home, didactic material and the practice of the habit of reading, which causes in students the lack of motivation to learn and therefore the low academic performance for what is formulated. How does the lack of implementation of a reading corner with recycled material at home affect the development of verbal linguistic intelligence and motivation and interest in reading in times of Covid-19 in children? The objective of our intervention project is to determine the incidence of a reading corner with recycled material at home for the development of verbal linguistic intelligence and motivation and interest in reading in times of Covid-19 in children, and The specific objectives are to diagnose the causes that cause the lack of a reading corner with recycled material, theoretically and scientifically substantiate the reading corner for the development of verbal linguistic intelligence, design strategies to encourage the habit of reading in children and girls. As educators of children we are aware of the shortcomings that surround the toddler in the educational field, so the lack of didactic material in the reading corner does not allow the student to develop their own verbal linguistic intelligence, express their creativity and enrich their vocabulary , the opinions of educators in this branch consider that work in corners is necessary and will benefit the child in teachinglearning through the management of stories, pictures, educational magazines, videos, etc. Having the educator as the main motivator. From our research we have believed it necessary to develop strategy workshops to develop the reading habit, these are intended for parents and classroom teachers with the purpose of improving pedagogical practice within the virtual classroom in which children will be the only and true beneficiaries
