| Zusammenfassung: | ABSTRACT The Study “ILLNESSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF TECHNOLOGICAL DEVICES IN STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF THE NURSING CAREER. BOLÍVAR STATE UNIVERSITY. PERIOD DECEMBER 2022 - APRIL 2023" executed with the objective of determining the main symptoms associated with the use of technological devices in students and teachers of the nursing career of the State University of Bolívar. Being defined as descriptive, non-experimental and inductive, transversal and field, for the collection of information a questionnaire made up of two parts was used: the first collects sociodemographic data and the use of devices and the second about the signs and symptoms associated with the use of technological devices, we worked with a total of 407 participants, 389 students and 15 teachers, for the information processing Excel was used, which facilitated the obtaining of tables where it is evident that the technological devices with the longest use time use is the cell phone with a frequency between 5 to 7 hours a day. The identified visual problems associated with the use of technological devices correspond to redness, dry eyes and blurred vision; Regarding the musculoskeletal system, back pain stands out, followed by pain in the fingers and the presence of vertigo and fatigue, with pain at the base of the thumbs, swelling or stiff fingers being the least prevalent symptoms.
