Summary:The project entitled "Kinetic sculpture as a means to raise awareness about the conservation of Ecuadorian endemic flora" has been carried out with the aim of generating awareness and promoting the appreciation of the unique and diverse flora found in Ecuador. Throughout the project, an exhaustive research has been conducted on the most suitable materials for the design and creation of the artwork, for which the use of electronic resources with accurate and updated information facilitated the project execution. The results have shown that the kinetic sculpture has been strategically placed in a high-traffic area within the university, and it has been aesthetically and visually designed to capture the attention of viewers. Through the use of dynamic movements and shapes, it effectively conveys a sense of life and vitality while highlighting the beauty and uniqueness of Ecuadorian endemic flora. In conclusion, the project of the kinetic sculpture as a means to raise awareness about the conservation of Ecuadorian endemic flora has been successful in promoting the appreciation and protection of native flora. Its visual and educational impact has sensitized the university community and visitors, generating a positive change in attitude towards the conservation of endemic flora. This project represents a significant step towards biodiversity preservation and the development of a society that is more committed to environmental care
