Engadir etiqueta | Summary: | The study “Assessment according to the Marjory Gordon model for children under five years of age with malnutrition at the Augusto Nicolás Martínez Health Center in the city of Ambato, March - July 2021”, with the aim of assessing according to the Marjory Gordon model to children under five years of age, and identify the level of knowledge of nurses about the nursing process, activities of health personnel at the first level, as well as nursing practice, in the same way, information was collected according to the functional patterns of raised health; For which the technical analysis of the research was essential, allowing to define that this project was of a basic descriptive and explanatory type with a population of 3 nurses and 22 children under 5 years of age, using observation and content analysis as a survey technique. to collect data, with which it was concluded that the negative nutritional condition could have been caused by not having frequently visited the doctor either for check-ups or for some condition, even self-medicating the children, which in some cases tends to worsen their condition, in addition to not having all the required vaccines, for their proper development, making them vulnerable to some type of infection, which is conjugated to malnutrition, presenting lesions in the mouth, mucous membranes and skin, and problems in the processes of elimination, causing the food intake to be limited and generate food intolerances, for which it is advisable to use instruments that make it possible to assess the behavior of individuals in a general way in order to identify alterations in them and thus be able to prevent or correctly intervene in the event of a health complication.
