Description
Summary:In the present research project, the limited practice of the gym corner in the development of the field of body espression and motor sikills in 4 t0 5- year-old children in Sublevel 2 of Early Childhood Education, parallel “A” at the “Carlota Noboa de Durango Child Development Center” in Guaranda Cantón, Bolívar Province, in the year 2023, served as a point of reference. Therefore, a guide of strategic activities for the motor development of children was proposed as one of the alternatives to improve peer relationships, and their physical capabilities, and, consequently, to promote meaningful learning. The need to stimulate gross motor skills in boys and girls has been observed. To address the stated problem, a proposal for strategic activities to enhance their body expression and motor skills has been developed. These activities primarily differ in terms of body position, spatial situation, level of execution, movement speed, external conditions, and the combination of basic motor skillsWhen we discuss methodological strategies for motor exercises, we are referring to all activities that contribute to stimulating movement and mastery over general coordination. This is one of the most crucial elements of education, as it contributes to achieving socio-emotional, creative, and harmonious development in boys and girls.
