Summary:Faced with great difficulties in the development of verbal and non-verbal language in the "Rayitos de luz" child development center in the province of Bolívar, Guaranda canton, the research topic was raised: the game in the development of verbal and non-verbal language to children. boys and girls from 2 to 3 years of age from the "Rayitos de luz" child development center, with the aim of providing one of the alternatives to achieve the development of verbal and non verbal language through different playful strategies. The design for the elaboration and execution was carried out from May to September 2022 and the universe consists of 36 children and 3 teachers, giving a total of 39 people investigated. The foundation is centered on the scientific and theoretical approaches to the theme and sub- themes that are related to independent variables, what is the game, and as a dependent variable, the development of verbal and non-verbal language. Within the methods used according to the research design, the types of study are explanatory descriptive bibliographic and the inductive deductive analysis methodology is action research. These methods helped us to justify the rights and phenomena that are related to our variable;The techniques used are the survey of teachers and the observation sheet for children and this allowed us to collect specific data to arrive at the analysis and interpretation of results. Finally, it was possible to verify the difficulties of the development of verbal and non-verbal language in the girls and boys of the “Rayitos de Luz” child development center and they are related to the lack of playful activities that do not allow the children to actively socialize and more than that it was possible note that XIX the commitment of teachers is essential for the development of verbal and non verbal language in children.
