要約:The present research project called "ANÁLYSIS OF THE DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT GOVERNANCE IN THE CANTÓN LAS NAVES PROVINCE BOLÍVAR IN THE PERIOD NOVEMBER 2022 - FEBRUARY 2023", aims to "Analyze the Governance of Disaster Risk Management in the cantón Las Naves", for this we worked with local public institutions responsible for the proper process of governance in disaster risk management, such as: The cantonal GAD, the Community Police Unit, the Fire Department and the Health Center of the cantón Las Naves; the characterization of the guidelines of the Governance in Disaster Risk Management of each institution was carried out, which through interview sheets to the management and political personnel, it was identified that they have scarce financial resources for the management of risk reduction, non-compliance with regulations and policies in disaster risk management as well as, generation of pre-feasibility project without specifying the disaster risk variable; using the DELPHI method (Criteria based on experts), to categorize the percentage and level of compliance with the six strategic guidelines of Objective one; Risk governance; in this way the proposal of strategies that help to contribute to the strengthening of governance in disaster risk management in the public institutions involved in the subject of study was based.
