| סיכום: | The work addresses the problem of poor academic performance in geometry in ninth-grade students at the "San Lorenzo" Educational Unit, with an emphasis on understanding and solving problems related to angles. It is identified that this poor performance is largely due to the prevalence of traditional methodologies based on memorization, which limits meaningful learning. The proposal focuses on the use of concrete materials, such as protractors, geoplans, didactic clocks and other manipulable resources, to transform abstract concepts into tangible experiences. This approach is based on theories of meaningful learning, constructivism and active methodological strategies, which seek to improve student understanding, motivation and performance. In addition, collaborative learning is promoted, where students relate theoretical knowledge with its practical application. The research uses a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze the impact of this methodology. Through tests and surveys, both academic progress and the perceptions of students and teachers are evaluated. The results show that the use of concrete materials not only improves performance in geometry, but also encourages critical thinking, active participation and autonomous problem solving. Finally, recommendations are presented for integrating these resources into the classroom, highlighting their potential to enrich the teaching of mathematics and contribute to development. This innovative approach seeks to transform mathematics education, making it more dynamic, inclusive and connected to the reality of students |
