总结:The objective of the research was to determine the lactation curve of Holstein Friesian cows in the Mejía canton, Pichincha province, Ecuador. Data were analyzed using the Incomplete Gamma function in SAS, vw. 9.4 (2014). The comparison of the least squares means was carried out through the PROC MEANS and the correlation of the milk production characters using the CORR procedure. The lactation curve was determined =19.7928 ±1.92660.054021 ±0.0266(−0.00089322 ±0.00022); the duration of lactation_ DLAC, was 309.8 ± 4.28 days; the initial production was 23.16kg; time to peak, 60.48 days; a R2A was obtained, 85.10%; Durbin statistic Watson_ DW, 1.48; The correlation between the total milk production _LTOTAL and the control day production _PDC, was reached with the PDC_10, 41.56% and that corresponded to the drying of the cow. It is concluded that the Incomplete Gamma function adjusted the milk production of Holstein friesian cows under the environmental conditions of the Machachi canton, Pichincha province, Ecuador.
