Efecto de diferentes dosis de harina y follaje de yuca en la crianza de pollos broiler

The present research called Effect of different doses of cassava (Manihot Esculenta) meal and foliage on broiler chickens, was born with the purpose of developing an alternative that allows better performance in chickens than those currently available based on commercial feed, so a low cost proposal was developed, which is the combination of cassava meal and foliage because it is characterized by having a large amount of protein percentage that can improve weight gain rates in the experimental subjects. In this research, the diet was carried out by combining cassava flour and cassava foliage with different percentages (10%, 20%, 30%) in which its effectiveness for the growth, fattening or weight gain of the birds was evaluated. The research was developed in the province of Bolivar, San Simon parish, San Simon sector (Yacoto), the experimental material with which we worked was 320 Broiler chickens of one day old with an average weight of 32gr, flour and cassava foliage and balanced, to validate the results of the research we used the statistical technique of completely randomized block design, ANOVA to determine differences between treatments and the method of multiple ranges of TUKEY to determine which is the best treatment. The results obtained show that T3 with 30% cassava flour and foliage shows statistically significant evidence that it is the one with the best results in weight gain, with a p-value <0.0001 and adjusted R2 of 0.99, In reference to the utility, it is observed that T3 shows to be the best since it presents the best range of profitability with a cost per carcass of $ 598.16 of all the experimental subjects in the treatment. Regarding pigmentation, it is observed that T3 shows greater intensity in the yellow coloration of its legs because it is the one with the highest percentage of cassava flour and foliage and therefore the highest amount of carotenoids that cause its coloration.
