Shrnutí: | The design of self-guided trails currently represents the autonomous development of routes, such as the Tiagua Caves, which, being a great tourist potential for the Salinas de Guaranda parish belonging to the Bolívar province, could generate more local economy, however, the research problem reflects to the interpretation route as a way that is not adapted to tourist needs, due to the lack of organization and the limits of education in rural areas, so the objectives are oriented towards the resolution of a structural design of the Tiagua caves under the fulfillment of specific objectives such as the creation of the self-guided route in what was necessary for the situational diagnosis of the place, identifying that the parish head focuses only on the guidance of the salt mines, for this it was identified that annually the average of views is 18,000 tourists. The methodology applied in the development of the research project was based on parameters under the type of research, the purpose and the design reflecting characteristics towards the qualitative approach which drafted the analysis of interviews with key actors in the interpretation of needs in the technical study. of the route such as the origin of visitors, mostly provincial people from the Coast, the positive implement of the path, its strengths with the unique vision of each cave such as Cueva del Oso, la Gemela, the Hongo and la Posada, in each section, the shortcoming of the road and the lack of signage of each site were identified. Ending with the total budget for informative signs, welcome and farewell penalties, pictograms of natural and cultural attractions, adaptation of the road is $10,762.00, this under the guidelines of the Signage Manual imposed by the Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador. |
