To achieve this, a mixed methodology was used that integrates qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research focused on identifying the flood threat, for which historical data was collected from the Power NASA platform. In addition, various analytical methodologies were used, such as the Outlier technique for the identification of anomalies. Regarding return times, the Hydronomon software was applied, complemented by the Dick Peschke method. Based on these analyses, four hydraulic models were developed using IBER software, with the purpose of characterizing the elements exposed in the scenic boardwalk sector. |

El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar la amenaza de inundación y los elementos expuestos en el sector del malecón escénico de la ciudad de Tena. Para ello, se empleó una metodología mixta que integra enfoques cualitativos y cuantitativos. La investigación se centró en identificar la amenaza de inundación, para lo cual se recopilaron datos históricos a partir de la plataforma Power NASA. Además, se utilizaron diversas metodologías analíticas, como la técnica Outlier para la identificación de anomalías. En cuanto a los tiempos de retorno, se aplicó el software Hydronomon, complementado con el método Dick Peschke.
