Description
Summary:The general objective of the work was to identify the ergonomic factors in the occupational diseases of the workers of the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro Hospital, formulating the hypothesis that these factors negatively affect occupational health. An exploratory and descriptive methodology was used, using the OCRA method to evaluate ergonomic risks through surveys and direct observations in various areas of the hospital. The main results revealed a high incidence of musculoskeletal disorders and work-related stress among workers, highlighting the lack of adequate breaks and the adoption of inappropriate postures. It is concluded that ergonomic factors are directly related to the increase in occupational diseases, which highlights the need to implement effective corrective measures. A hypothesis test was carried out through statistical analysis, confirming the relationship between ergonomic factors and occupational diseases. It is recommended to establish an ergonomics training plan and promote healthier work practices to improve employee well-being and reduce absenteeism, which will contribute to maintaining a healthy, motivated and productive staff, complying with occupational health and safety regulations.
