Yhteenveto:The quality of care represents one of the greatest fashions of the present millennium, since institutions providing health services need continuous improvement. In view of this situation and the risks represented by long waiting times, the objective of this research is to know the quality of care in the triage area of the emergency service, of the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro hospital. Currently the quality of health care is a priority issue that deserves research in order to find the baseline that allows the writing and development of the writing of the literature survey and the results of the survey applied to the users, the authorities of the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro Hospital are recommended, the quality of the system's attention is improved, the information about the Manchester triage system is provided. Enable personal information as providers of benefits, have a clear picture of usefulness for decision making and the design of strategies that originate an improvement in the provision of services. The present investigation reaches a depth level of descriptive type, that allows to clearly understand the information gathered in the theoretical framework and the results obtained from the data collection to the users.
