Keywords: Risk, Reduction, Anthropic, Disasters, Emergency, Disasters.El presente estudio de caso tuvo como objetivo Analizar la gestión de riesgos de desastres en espacios turísticos, caso Quinta de Juan León Mera, parroquia Atocha – Ficoa, Ambato, utilizando la metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa que permite analizar y evaluar los riesgos tanto de los turistas como de la Quinta Juan León Mera a partir de una inspección de los espacios abiertos y los espacios cerrados que posee la quinta, además de la colaboración del administrador de la Quinta Juan León Mera en proporcionar información para poder realizar el levantamiento de información de la parte estructural, no estructural, social y funcional lo cual permite conocer a que riesgos esta expuesta la Quinta Juan León Mera y cómo actuar antes durante y después de una emergencias o desastres, proporcionando información sobre el porcentaje de visitantes desde el mes de julio a diciembre del 2021 y conocer el porcentaje de personas que acuden al lugar y estar preparados para un evento de riesgos, tanto natural como antrópico que pueda existir dentro de la Quinta de Juan León Mera cada indicador que conforman cada aspecto evaluado para la toma de decisiones en la realización de acciones prioritarias y conocer en qué porcentaje aporta en la actuación y reducción de riesgos de la quinta que a partir de su análisis se determinó que la quinta Juan León Mera se encuentra expuesta a riesgo sísmico, incendios estructurales y ambientales, posterior al análisis de información se podrá socializar los resultados con las autoridades para la realización de medidas oportunas. Por último, se debe mencionar la importancia de la evaluación a partir de instrumentos de diagnóstico que permitan conocer a los visitantes la realidad de las instalaciones de este espacio turístico y posterior realizar el plan de reducción de riesgos.
