Etiketa erantsi | Gaia: | The present investigation was carried out in the Caschca Totoras Protective Forest of the Santiago Parish, Bolívar province, which is an exponent of tourism and conservation due to the richness of its flora and fauna. That is why the objective of the research was to develop a feasibility analysis for the implementation of an Environmental Interpretation Center in the Cashca Totoras Protected Forest. To meet the aforementioned objective, qualitative and action research has been used, through field research an analysis of the current situation of the forest under study was carried out. The documentary investigation is improved for the collection of real data that allows the location to be detected. In addition, through the application of interviews with key actors and direct observation, relevant information could be obtained. The program used to represent the interpretation center was AUTOCAD. In the Cashca Totoras Forest the flora and fauna are native and endemic. The creation of an interpretive ecological trail is proposed, which will be called "The Chaquiñán de Cashca trail". With the implementation of this site, conservation measures of the protective forest are promoted. The physical space will be 244.15 m2 where visitors will be encouraged to create environmental, tourist and cultural awareness, and will provide understandable information about the place and its attractions. For the feasibility of this center, the opinion of the local actors is considered, obtaining positive responses for its implementation. Keywords: Interpretation Center, conservation, sustainable |
