Se realizó una revisión en los últimos años, mediante un análisis de mercado teniendo en cuenta: evolución, crecimiento, integrantes, composición, aporte a la economía del país, principales ramos, factores que han perjudicado su siniestralidad, ventajas y desventajas sobre el nuevo Código Orgánico y Monetario, analizando el comportamiento del mercado asegurador frente a las instrucciones y normativas de la nueva reforma de la Ley General de Seguros, su afectación en los integrantes del mercado, la variación en la rentabilidad técnica, y el impacto que tendrá en general este sector. Se observó que en el año 2016 las variables legales, sociales y económicas han tenido una afectación directa importante sobre el sector asegurador ecuatoriano. |

A review has been made in recent years, through a market analysis taking into account: evolution, growth, membership, composition, contribution to the country's economy, main sectors, factors that have hurt their claims, advantages and disadvantages on the new Code Organic and Monetary, analyzing the behavior of the insurance market against the instructions and regulations of the new reform of the General Insurance Law, its impact on market participants, the variation in technical profitability, and the general impact this will have sector.
