Los diseños fueron establecidos de acuerdo a los parámetros indicados en las normas NEC- 15, ASCE 7-16 y ACI 318-14. Los resultados obtenidos señalan diferencias significativas en el comportamiento de la estructura, en cuanto al periodo de vibración (T), derivas de entrepiso, desplazamiento de la estructura, secciones de los elementos estructurales y su cuantía de acero de refuerzo, además se incluyó un presupuesto referencial de coste inicial y una proyección a largo plazo en caso de sufrir sismos y por tanto un posible daño para la estructura no aislada |

Both designs were implemented to a study structure, composed of reinforced concrete and five floors located at a soil type E, in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador considered a high seismic zone. For the elaboration of the designs, two methods of analysis were used, spectral and time-history. The designs were established according to the parameters indicated in standards NEC-15, ASCE 7-16 and ACI 318-14.
