Se utilizó el cuestionario NFPA 61 “Standard for the Prevention of Fires and Dust Explosions in Agricultural and Food Processing Facilities” para recolectar la información de 14 criterios en ambas plantas. Este es el cuestionario estándar para la evaluación de riesgos en tipo de industrias. En ambas plantas se encontraron similitudes en la mayoría de criterios. Y se encontraron no conformidades en 10 de los 14 criterios, lo cual denota que se debe de intervenir inmediatamente en ambas plantas, con el fin de aplicar las medidas de prevención y control que minimicen el riesgo de explosiones de polvo. Se encontró un patrón similar en ambas plantas. Más del 70% de los criterios evaluados, representaban riesgos de explosión por polvo.

It hopes to share awareness of the risk involved in not taking precautionary or control measures in order to avoid damaging events. The NFPA 61 questionnaire "Standard for the Prevention of Fires and Dust Explosions in Agricultural and Food Processing Facilities" was used to collect information on 14 criteria in both plants. This is the standard questionnaire for the evaluation of risks in type of industries. In both plants, similarities were found in most of the criteria.
