Se analiza cinco partes claves del sector automotriz; las ventas, importaciones, exportaciones, producción nacional y ensamblaje. Con las respectivas partes analizadas, se compara a la industria desde el 2007 hasta el 2013. Para el análisis, las ensambladoras establecidas en el país tuvieron un papel clave en la investigación, de este modo se pudo establecer el vinculo entre los efectos arancelarios y la producción nacional. Con las comparaciones de los años en los cuales no existía la restricción y en los años que ya fue implementada, se concluye si el arancel establecido tuvo un efecto positivo o negativo en el sector automotriz, y como este influencio en las ensambladoras del país. |

The research is based on the tariff restrictions issued by the government of Rafael Correa in early 2012. Five key parts in the automotive sector is analyzed; sales, imports, exports, domestic production and assembly. With the analysis of the respective parties, it has compared the industry from 2007 to 2013. For the analysis, the assembly established in the country played a key role in research, thus is able to establish the link between tariff purposes and domestic production.
