Partiendo de la premisa que el fan está emocionalmente conectado con el objeto de afición y que este se traduce por los altos niveles de consumo, se apunta en comprobarlo con el método cualitativo que lo analiza por estudio de casos. Se toma como referencia al portal Fanfiction.net al ser el más representativo. De las categorías principales en el sitio web (anime/manga, libros, dibujos animados, comics, juegos, misceláneos, películas, obras de teatro/musicales, TV), se selecciona cada subcategoría puntera para observar la actividad en un periodo determinado y así valorar la relación que guarda respecto a la narrativa oficial que se difunde. Se obtiene como hallazgo en la observación que efectivamente la comunidad de fans tiende a publicar más material en línea cada vez que la parte oficial difunde nuevo contenido. |

It starts from the premise that the fan is emotionally attached with the subject of avocation, and reflected by the high levels of consumption. To prove it, a qualitative method is applied to analyse it by case studies. Fanfiction.net is taken as reference, for being the most representative fan fiction platform. From the main categories on the website (anime / manga, books, cartoons, games, miscellaneous, movies, plays / musicals, TV), each subcategory is selected to observe the activity in a specific period, and thus assess the relationship in regards with the official content being spread.
