La escuela y la Educación Superior (ES) implican una propuesta de formación de hombres libres, independientes, creativos, cultos, capaces de adaptarse y vincularse a los tiempos modernos y a los avances de la ciencia. Este trabajo pretende estudiar el impacto financiero que conlleva las actividades de acreditación del sistema de las Instituciones de Educación Superior en el instituto superior de arte culinario, a través de la presentación y el análisis de los informes financieros oficiales se planteará las principales implicaciones que el modelo ecuatoriano de acreditación ha traído al actual sistema de la IES. El aseguramiento de la calidad en la educación es un tópico que para el cual no todas las instituciones de eduación superior destinan parte de sus presupuestos, por tal motivo el momento que se plantea un proceso de acreditación, varias de dichas instituciones no se encuentran financieramente preparadas para afrontar los gastos derivados de dichos procesos.

School and Higher Education (ES – for the acronym in Spanish) imply a proposal for the education of men to become free, independent, creative, gentle, able to adapt and be able to go in accordance with the change of times and the scientific development. This work intends to study the financial impact resulting from the activities of of accreditation of the Institutions of the Higher Education System and specifically at the Institute of Culinary Arts. The main implications that the ecuadorian model of accreditation has brought to the ongoing system of the IES will be displayed through the presentations and analysis of their official financial statements.
