If this skill is not acquired properly, the information received can be misinterpreted, and that could cause good communication not to develop. Therefore, this project aims to show how animated movie songs can help in the development of students' listening comprehension through the performance of listening activities. In addition, throughout this research, students will improve their listening comprehension, their vocabulary will expand, and their pronunciation will develop. Thus, with the help of a bibliographical, statistical, and field study; and with the application of research instruments such as the teacher interview, student survey, and observation sheet, it was proved that ninth-grade students of Basic General Education from Unidad Educativa Particular “Francisco Huerta Rendón” present difficulties to enhance their listening comprehension due to the lack of practice of listening activities and the lack of innovative didactic resources that facilitate their improvement in said skill. That is why this project focused on creating an interactive blog according to the National Curricular Guidelines with A1.2 level listening activities based on animated movie songs to improve students' listening comprehension in a more engaging and accessible way.Escuchar es vital para el proceso de comunicación, ya que permite que las personas interpreten los mensajes de manera efectiva. Si esta habilidad no se adquiere adecuadamente, la información recibida puede ser malinterpretada, y eso podría hacer que no se desarrolle una buena comunicación. Por lo tanto, este proyecto tiene como objetivo mostrar cómo las canciones de películas animadas pueden ayudar en el desarrollo de la comprensión auditiva de los estudiantes a través de la realización de actividades de escucha. Además, a lo largo de esta investigación, los estudiantes mejorarán su comprensión auditiva, su vocabulario se ampliará y su pronunciación se desarrollará. Por ello, con la ayuda de un estudio bibliográfico, estadístico y de campo; y con la aplicación de instrumentos de investigación como la entrevista docente, la encuesta a los estudiantes y la ficha de observación, se descubrió que los estudiantes de noveno grado de Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa Particular “Francisco Huerta Rendón” presentan dificultades para potenciar su comprensión auditiva debido a la falta de práctica de actividades de escucha y la falta de recursos didácticos innovadores que faciliten su perfeccionamiento en dicha destreza. Es por eso que este proyecto se centró en crear un blog interactivo de acuerdo con las Directrices Curriculares Nacionales con actividades auditivas de nivel A1.2 basadas en canciones de películas animadas para mejorar la comprensión auditiva de los estudiantes de una manera más atractiva y accesible.Universidad de Guayaquil.
