Se aplicaron fichas de detección temprana de dificultades de aprendizaje, escala de autoestima de Rosenberg y cuestionarios dirigidos a las autoridades de la escuela ‘‘Nuestra Señora de Montebello’’ y padres de familia. Los resultados muestran que las dificultades de aprendizaje son causantes principales de la baja autoestima en el estudiante; se evidencia que el personal docente desconoce de estrategias innovadoras eficientes que ayuden a la problemática, su enseñanza – aprendizaje se rige a lo tradicional y no consideran el desarrollo emocional e integral del alumno, por lo tanto, se concluye la necesidad de implementar una guía didáctica de juegos interactivos y estrategias psicoemocionales como acompañamiento pedagógico a las dificultades del aprendizaje y autoestima.The purpose of the research work is to determine the influence of learning difficulties on self esteem through field and bibliographic research with a qualitative-quantitative approach, based on the deductive-inductive method. Early detection sheets for learning difficulties, the Rosenberg self-esteem scale and questionnaires addressed to the authorities of the ''Nuestra Señora de Montebello'' school and parents were applied.
