Se utilizó la metodología de Sistematización de Experiencias Prácticas de Investigación, la cual consistió en un plan de intervención cognitiva y otro conductual, los mismos que se ejecutaron en un total de seis sesiones. Gracias a la fase de evaluación y a la ejecución de actividades individuales que realizaron los usuarios con los docentes, se logró identificar y analizar de forma más detallada las habilidades básicas de cada uno de ellos, logrando ejecutar de manera adecuada la intervención de acuerdo a los intereses y diferencias individuales. El objetivo principal de llevar a cabo esta actividad fue el de mejorar el proceso de aprendizaje de los usuarios que asistieron a la asociación, por un lado; y, por otro, el de capacitar a los representantes mediante talleres en donde pusieron en práctica lo aprendido mejorando así su diario vivir. A lo largo del desarrollo de las sesiones y como resultado del proceso, se llegó a la conclusión de que las técnicas utilizadas en la intervención psicoeducativa ayudaron a generar nuevos aprendizajes y potenciaron sus habilidades básicas. Además, se evidenció que las intervenciones grupales fueron las que tuvieron mayor acogida por parte de los usuarios debido a que eran más participativas e involucraron mayores representaciones visuales fortaleciendo la escucha y atención, llevándolos a culminar el proceso de manera satisfactoriaThe present work called "Psychoeducational intervention in adolescents aged 12 to 16 years with Down Syndrome who attend the Asociación Creer." The Systematization of Practical Experiences methodology was used, which consisted of a cognitive and behavioral intervention plan, the same ones that were executed in a total of six sessions Thanks to the evaluation phase and to the execution of individual activities carried out by the users with the teachers, it was possible to identify and analyze in a more detailed way the basic skills of each of them , achieving an adequate execution of the intervention according to individual interests and differences.
