Se debe impedir que los niños menores de 14 años consuman los energizantes y se debe fomentar que los jóvenes y adultos conozcan las especificaciones de los componentes. Las bebidas energizantes están compuestas por carbohidratos, cafeína, guaraná, taurina y vitamina B principalmente, por lo que se las ubica como bebidas estimulantes no son hidratantes ni alimentos los energizantes son bebidas que causan taquicardia y elevación de la presión arterial, incluso pueden llevar a la persona a la muerte. El consumidor lo hace para calmar la sed y obtener energía a pesar de existir países donde se ha prohibido aquí en Ecuador aún no se da. La metodología que se empleo para la monografía fue bibliográfica, documental y fichas nemotécnicas.He is pertinent to indicate that in Ecuador, is legal to consume, to produce, to sell, to concern and to distribute “energy drink”, in spite of I try to indicate at those who works legally in this business. What happens is that an organization does not exist that regulates the requirements that arrange the Sanitary Registries, since it is due to prevent that the smaller children of 14 years consume them and that the young people and adults know the specifications of the components of these products and the risks to that they are exposed by the inadequate consummation of such.
