Siendo su objetivo, plantear mejoras en el proceso de la OVP para incidir en políticas y planes a partir de aprendizajes concretos que provienen de experiencias reales. La metodología utilizada en el presente trabajo permitió profundizar y analizar aspectos relevantes, a través de interpretaciones críticas de los sucesos, generando reflexiones, conocimiento y aprendizajes significativos de lo vivido. Mediante la reconstrucción histórica y la reflexión crítica, se encontraron problemáticas, como: planificación y ejecución incompleta del proceso, sobrecarga laboral, falta de personal, falta de recursos y apatía estudiantil. En conclusión, fue evidente que en zonas rurales se resta importancia al proceso de OVPThis systematization focuses on the Vocational and Professional Guidance process carried out at the "Olmedo" Educational Unit, and responds to the central question: How to contribute to the improvement of the VPO process in high school students at the "Olmedo" school? Its objective is to propose improvements in the OVP process in order to influence policies and plans based on concrete learning from real experiences. The methodology used in this work allowed to deepen and analyze relevant aspects, through critical interpretations of the events, generating reflections, knowledge and significant learning from what was experienced. Through historical reconstruction and critical reflection, problems were found, such as: incomplete planning and execution of the process, work overload, lack of personnel, lack of resources and student apathy.
