El problema radica en que los docentes se enfrentan a varios estresores que los llevan a utilizar estrategias de afrontamiento. Se recogieron datos para llevar a cabo está investigación, la misma que fue realizada en la modalidad de análisis de casos cuya metodología fue cualitativa de alcance descriptivo - explicativo bajo un diseño fenomenológico; los diferentes instrumentos a los participantes fueron: Entrevista semiestructurada, NTP 574 Escala de fuentes de estrés en docentes Universitarios y la Escala de Carver - Escala de afrontamiento al estrés. Los resultados de las herramientas utilizadas permitieron determinar y describir las estrategias de afrontamiento que utilizados por los docentes debido al estrés que le ha provocado la nueva modalidad virtualThe general objective of this degree work is to establish the coping strategies used in the virtual modality against the stress perceived by the teachers of the Faculty of Psychological Sciences of the University of Guayaquil. The problem is that teachers face various stressors that lead them to use coping strategies.
