Se realizó un reconocimiento inicial que permitió determinar el nivel de conocimiento inicial de los padres de familia con respecto a los signos de alerta del TEA, además de desarrollar talleres e identificar el instrumento a ser utilizado en el desarrollo del proyecto, los resultados obtenidos demuestran que los padres de familia considerados dentro del proyecto, tenían claros ciertos aspectos normales o no normales con respecto al desarrollo de sus hijos, sin embargo al profundizar en temas relacionados con el TEA, mediante los cinco talleres desarrollados, los padres pudieron entender los procesos normales que deberían verse en el desarrollo de sus hijos, por lo que mediante la retroalimentación de estos, se pudo comprobar que su nivel de conocimiento aumentó considerablemente y los signos de alerta son conocidos por todos los participantesThe objective of this work was to determinate the initial level of knowledge of the parents of the CID Consolata, of Huerto de los Olivos Foundation, about the warning signs of ASD, in order to be able to give tools to the parents of children between 2 to 36 months for the timely recognition of Autism Spectrum Disorders, which would represent a significant improvement to the quality of life, by being able to grant the facilities for the accompaniment of the minor with ASD.
