Within the study, by means of the sample obtained in the students, it was observed a situation in disadvantage where most problems had as the taste for reading and in this case the English language. This made possible that the students totally discourage during the process of the class. The research was developed using different methods, techniques and instruments such as direct observation, inductive, deductive methods, analysis and synthesis and the use of techniques such as surveys. The ability to read, it is not an easy task, and may be even more complicated, if we do not have the appropriate tools to work it. At the time that students are practicing a new language, they determine their knowledge with the ability to learn, for that reason, if students are not motivated to read, they could not learn much of the language. It previously explained, we thought the need to create a manual of stories that include dynamic activities. This has been accepted as a viable being part of the educational project. This will be implemented in the students of the bachelor "Otto Arosemena" Mixed Public School. The objective of the proposal is to motivate the ability of reading skill that will help the students and teachers to have innovative, dynamic and funny classes using English. This technique has based on the theory of constructivism that reveals that new knowledge is created and learned when there is a relationship between experiences with ideas.Las autoras de este proyecto encaminaron su investigación hacia el campo y factores que han sido impedimentos dentro del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de la habilidad de la destreza lectora, con el exclusivo interés de establecer y aplicar las estrategias para fomentar de forma adecuada esta habilidad. Dentro del estudio, por medio de la muestra obtenida en los estudiantes, se observó una situación con desventajas donde la mayoría presentaron problemas como el gusto por la lectura y en este caso por el idioma inglés. Esto posibilitaba que los estudiantes entre en una total desmotivación durante la hora de clase. La investigación fue desarrollada utilizando distintos métodos, técnicas e instrumentos como: observación directa, los métodos inductivo, deductivo, análisis y síntesis y el uso de técnicas tales como encuestas. La habilidad hacia la lectura, no es una labor fácil, y puede ser aún más complicado, si no contamos con las herramientas apropiadas para trabajarlo. En el momento que los estudiantes están practicando una nueva lengua, ellos determinan sus conocimientos con la capacidad de informarse, por ese motivo, si los estudiantes no están motivados a leer, ellos no podrían aprender mucho del idioma. Por lo explicado previamente, hemos pensado la necesidad de crear un manual de cuentos que incluyan actividades dinámicas. Este ha sido aceptado como viable siendo parte del proyecto educativo. Este será puesto en práctica en los estudiantes del primero de bachillerato del Colegio Fiscal Mixto “Otto Arosemena”. El objetivo de la propuesta es motivar la habilidad de la destreza lectora que será de ayuda para los estudiantes y profesores tener clases innovadoras, dinámicas y divertidas usando el inglés. Esta técnica la hemos fundamentado en la teoría del constructivismo que nos revela que el nuevo conocimiento es creado y aprendido cuando existe una relación entre las experiencias con las ideasUniversidad de Guayaquil.
