El objetivo del presente trabajo fue identificar los factores asociados a la hemorragia postparto inmediato por atonía uterina en multíparas en el Hospital Matilde Hidalgo de Procel 2021-2022, por medio de un estudio retrospectivo, observacional, no experimental y transversal, los instrumentos utilizados fueron la ficha de observación donde se analizaron 111 historias clínicas de gestantes multíparas con HPP y la aplicación de cuestionario de entrevista. Como resultado se determinó que el 62,2% de multíparas se encuentran en edades entre 25-35 años, el principal factor anteparto fue la anemia (52%), y de intraparto el parto prolongado (64%), la causa de mayor relevancia asociada a la atonía uterina fue el agotamiento muscular en el 57% de los casosPostpartum hemorrhage is an obstetric complication with high rates of maternal morbimortality in the world; the most frequent cause is uterine atony and multiparity is a relevant risk factor.
