This research was aimed at 9th -year EGB students who have shortcomings in written expression, and for that reason it is difficult for them to express their ideas in English. The investigative process was oriented through a quantitative method since numerical data were obtained to measure the need of these students for the improvement of written expression with the use of the brainwriting technique. Therefore, the information acquired allowed the completion of the research objectives. Likewise, it was necessary to implement a didactic guide that will present a list of sequential activities with a time limit in each activity in order to encourage and strengthen this ability in those students.Este proyecto de investigación analiza la incidencia de la técnica de escritura cerebral en la expresión escrita en la Unidad Educativa Fiscal Leonidas García. Esta investigación fue direccionada a los alumnos de 9no EGB que presentan falencias en la expresión escrita, y por esa razón se les dificulta expresar sus ideas en inglés. El proceso investigativo se orientó a través de un método cuantitativo, debido a que se obtuvieron datos numéricos para medir la necesidad de estos estudiantes frente a la mejora de la expresión escrita con el uso de la técnica de escritura cerebral. Por lo tanto, la información adquirida permitió dar culminación a los objetivos de la investigación. Así mismo, fue necesario la implementación de una guía didáctica que expondrá una lista de actividades secuenciales con un límite de tiempo en cada actividad con la finalidad de incitar y fortalecer esta habilidad en los estudiantes.Universidad de Guayaquil.
