All this started inquiring learners about methods that are used to foment the meaningful learning. The analysis of the results was carried out through the classroom observation which were detected the flaws in the reading, the surveys directed to learners of the Dr. Francisco Arizaga Luque high school, nevertheless it was realized the lack of reading techniques influence unfavorably in the learning process of learners, furthermore in this sense the teacher has the responsibility of enriching his pedagogical practice with innovative activities applying the reading techniques, as result to this project is introduced a booklet with activities based on reading techniques propitious for children and adultsEste trabajo de investigación está dirigido a las técnicas de lectura y su influencia en el proceso de la comprensión lectora de octavo año de educación básica del colegio Dr. Francisco Arizaga Luque, año escolar 2018-2019, cuyo objetivo es establecer la influencia de las técnicas de lectura en el proceso de lectura de aprendizaje a través del uso y aplicación de las estrategias de lectura. Todo esto comenzó indagando a los estudiantes sobre los métodos que son usados para fomentar el aprendizaje significativo. El análisis de los resultados se llevó a cabo a través de una observación de clase por la cual fueron detectadas las falencias en la lectura y a través de las encuestas dirigidas a los estudiantes del colegio Dr. Francisco Arizaga Luque. Sin embargo, se constató que la falta de técnicas de lectura influye desfavorablemente en el proceso de aprendizaje de los alumnos, además en este sentido el docente tiene la responsabilidad de enriquecer su práctica pedagógica con actividades innovadoras que aplican las técnicas de lectura, como resultado de este proyecto se presenta un folleto con actividades basadas en técnicas de lectura propicias para niños y adultosUniversidad de Guayaquil.
