El presentetrabajo de titulacióntiene comoobjetivo diseñar un dispensador inteligente para alimentar mascota. Se determinólos antecedentes dela investigacióny se identificó que el principal problema es la mala alimentación y cuidado de la mascotaya que no existe un control en el horario y ración de la comida. Para la resolución del problema se utilizó una investigación de campo de tipo descriptivay exploratoria ya que permite obtener información relevantemediante entrevista a veterinariossobre la cantidad de comida diaria que se le debe suministrar a la mascota.Se aplicó la metodología cualitativa no probabilístico, en el cual se encuestóanoventa y cuatropersonas con mascota. Los resultadosevidencian que existen una falta de conocimiento en las porciones de comida según la raza y tamaño. Por lo tanto, se concluyó que la utilización del dispensador inteligente tiene una influencia positiva en la alimentación y cuidado de la mascota.Nowadays, the new technological trends have a great impact on people being able to communicate and dotheir activities from anywhere, this technology refers to the internet of things (IoT). The objective of this titling work is to design a smart dispenser machine to feed pets. The background of the investigation was determined, and it was identified that the main problem is the poor feeding andpet caresince there is not acontrol in the schedule and ration of the food. Adescriptive and exploratory field investigation was used to solve theproblem; itallows to obtain relevant information by interviewing veterinarians about the amount of food that should be provided to petdaily. The non-probabilistic qualitative methodology was applied, in which ninety-four people withpets were surveyed. The results show that there is a lack of knowledge about food portions according to breedand size. Therefore, it was concluded that the use of the smart dispensermachinehas a positive influence on the feeding and care of the pet.Universidad de Guayaquil. Facultad de Ingeniería Industrial.
