El objetivo de esta investigación es determinar el manejo clínico del diente permanente avulsionado. En el cual la metodología que se uso fue de tipo bibliográfico con un diseño documental, cualitativo y descriptivo. Se lo realizo mediante la recopilación de información, inspección de artículos científicos desde el 2015 hasta el presente año y realizando un análisis de las distintas fuentes bibliográficas. Los resultados obtenidos determinan que el manejo clínico a seguir ante un caso de avulsión de una pieza dental permanente es el reimplante inmediato, llegando a la conclusión que, mientras más sea el tiempo extraoral del diente avulsionado, las probabilidades de tener un buen pronóstico disminuyen, por tal razón es muy importante que el odontólogo se encuentre capacitado en temas de avulsión dental, para saber cómo actuar ante este tipo de traumatismos.Dental avulsion is one of the most serious lesions to the periodontal ligament with the most unfavorable prognosis, this occurs when the tooth is displaced, in a coronal direction, completely out of its alveoli, causing the rupture of the vasculonervious package and periodontal fibers. The objective of this research is to determine the clinical management of the avulsed permanent tooth. In which the methodology that was used was of a bibliographic type with a documentary, qualitative and descriptive design. It was done by collecting information, inspecting scientific articles from 2015 to this year and performing an analysis of the different bibliographic sources. The results obtained determine that the clinical management to follow in a case of avulsion of a permanent tooth is immediate reimplantation, reaching the conclusion that, the longer the extraoral time of the avulsed tooth, the chances of having a good prognosis decrease, for this reason it is very important that the dentist is trained in dental avulsion issues, to know how to act in the face of this type of trauma.Universidad de Guayaquil.
