| spelling | Longevidad de restauraciones indirectasNeira Tircio, Cristhian EmanuelLONGEVIDADRESTAURACION DENTAL PROVISIONALINCRUSTACIONES DENTALESPDFLas restauraciones indirectas han presentado excelentes resultados tanto en la estética como en lo funcional, estas han sido indicadas en casos que presentan gran pérdida de tejido dentario, ofreciendo ventajas como mayor resistencia a fracturas y la abrasión, otorgando un mayor control en la contracción por polimerización de los materiales y brindando una mejor anatomía ya que se trabaja fuera de la cavidad bucal, sin embrago se evidencia que presentan factores que a lo largo del tiempo afectan a las mismas, disminuyendo así la longevidad de este tipo de restauraciones. El objetivo de este trabajo es determinar cuáles son los diferentes factores que se hacen presente y a su vez afectan a la vida útil de las restauraciones indirectas. Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica basado en evidencia científica, compilando información de fuentes primaria y secundarias, de textos y artículos actualizados, proporcionando información acerca de los factores de riesgo que pueden afectar a la longevidad de las restauraciones indirectas. Se concluye que las restauraciones indirectas, a pesar de presentar excelentes características como material restaurador presentan varios factores que pueden influir dentro de la sobrevida de este tipo de restauraciones. Haciendo notar la importancia de conocer por parte del profesional de la salud, los materiales y los debidos procedimientos a seguir según el caso que se llegue a presentar. Indirect restorations have presented excellent results both in terms of aesthetics and functionality. These restorations have been carried out in cases that present great loss of dental tissue as they offer advantages of greater resistance to fractures and abrasion, giving greater control in contraction by polymerization of the materials and providing a better anatomy since it is worked outside the oral cavity. However, it is evident that indirect restorations present factors that affect themselves over time, thus reducing their longevity. The objective of this research is to determine the different factors that affect the useful life of indirect restorations. A bibliographic review based on scientific evidence was carried out, compiling information from primary and secondary sources, updated texts, and articles, providing information about the risk factors that can affect the longevity of indirect restorations. It is concluded that indirect restorations, despite presenting excellent characteristics as restorative materials, present several factors that may influence their resistance.
