Objetivo: El objetivo es determinar el conocimiento en el manejo de reanimación cardiopulmonar básico y avanzado en el personal de la salud del área de emergencia en el Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Quevedo, en el periodo comprendido desde agosto-septiembre del 2020.Lugar: La investigación se realizó en el servicio del área de emergencia del hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús de Quevedo. Método: El trabajo de investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y el método es Observacional, basada en la realización de encuestas, del Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús de Quevedo, en el periodo de agosto y septiembre del 2020. Resultados: Los resultados dde acuerdo con los datos, obtuvimos que el nivel de conocimiento sobre RCP del personal de salud predomina el nivel de conocimiento alto con un 65%, debido a que el mayor porcentaje de los profesionales se han capacitado. La conclusión de nuestra investigación se encontró que los profesionales médicos que se capacitaron por sus propios medios durante los últimos 3 años tienen un conocimiento alto y medio en igualdad de porcentaje y un porcentaje bajo no se ha capacitado.Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is defined as a sequential and organized response to cardiac arrest, including: recognizing the absence of circulation and respiration, basic life support with chest compressions and ventilations, advanced cardiac life support in which there is definitive airway control and rhythm, treatment after resuscitation. Objective: The objective is to determine the knowledge in the management of basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the health personnel of the emergency area at the Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Quevedo, in the period from August-September 2020. The investigation was carried out in the emergency area service of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús de Quevedo hospital. Method: The research work is of a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and the method is Observational, based on conducting surveys, of the Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús de Quevedo, in the period of august and September 2020. Results: The results according to the data, we obtained that the level of knowledge about CPR of the health personnel predominates the high level of knowledge with 65%, due to the fact that the highest percentage of the professionals have been trained.
