La investigación se llevó a cabo mediante la revisión de literatura en publicaciones de alto impacto, en bases de datos como Scopus, Google Scholar y Science Direct. El procedimiento con el que se realizó la búsqueda documental estuvo fundamentado en el modelo de Arskey y O’Malley, que divide el proceso de investigación en cinco fases sistemáticas. Se obtuvieron dos artículos científicos que cumplieron con los parámetros establecidos en los criterios de selección. Adicional a ello, se incluyeron dos artículos científicos, que, a pesar de no cumplir con todos los criterios de inclusión, fueron utilizados para el análisis y la contrastación de datos empíricos. A través de la recopilación y análisis de artículos, se logró evidenciar que la escasa intervención de organismos gubernamentales agudiza las necesidades alimenticias, de vivienda, asistencia médica, precariedad laboral e informalidad en sectores como asentamientos informales, comunidades andinas y barrios urbanos marginales en países de Iberoamérica. Se detectó, además, que las acciones ejecutadas fueron protagonizadas por organizaciones y movimientos sociales, orientados a la satisfacción de necesidades en materia de seguridad alimentaria y de vivienda de adultos mayores. Consecuentemente, se constata la escasa producción científica relacionada a las diferencias de género en adultas y adultos mayores en el acceso a la seguridad socialThe purpose of this thesis was to analyze the scientific evidence on possible collective actions for access to social security in older adults in times of Covid-19. The research was carried out by reviewing literature in high impact publications in databases such as Scopus, Google Scholar and Science Direct. The procedure used for the documentary search, was based on the Arskey and O'Malley model, which divides the research process into five systematic phases. Two scientific articles were obtained that met the parameters established in the selection criteria. In addition, two scientific articles were included, which, although they did not meet all the inclusion criteria, were used for the analysis and contrast of empirical data. Through the compilation and analysis of articles, it became evident that the lack of intervention by government agencies exacerbates the needs for food, housing, medical care, precarious labor and informality in sectors such as informal settlements, Andean communities and marginal urban neighborhoods in Iberoamérica countries. It was also detected that the actions carried out were led by organizations and social movements aimed at meeting the food security and housing needs of the elderly.
