This is due in part to the low development of nursing students in reading skills, which does not allow them to increase logical reasoning, essential part in the teaching-learning process. Reading is a primary mechanism that encourages students to develop skills that will allow them to understand texts, to make it thoughtful review and develop in the environment in which they operate. Accordingly, teachers should inculcate a reading culture in students to increase their reading skills in applying methodologies that are based on the socio-cultural reality in which they operate. Therefore, in this research the problem under investigation and through observations at the site the current situation could generate a lack of interest in reading with students is presented. Similarly, it can see and distinguish the theoretical information that allows to know in detail the variables that make up the research project and the foundation upon which it sits. Furthermore, the methodology used to obtain the necessary information about the problem as well as the analysis of the results obtained in carrying out the surveys and to allow the conclusions and recommendations outlined. Finally, reference is made to the proposal with their respective components; which seeks to help students to develop reading skills and in turn raise the academic level of the same. Therefore, this research will be a material in which the teacher can support the time of some readingLos maestros del sistema educativo ecuatoriano, especialmente aquellos que están enseñando inglés, enfrentan varias desventajas con respecto al nivel académico de los estudiantes. Esto se debe en parte al bajo desarrollo de los estudiantes de enfermería en habilidades de lectura, lo que no les permite aumentar el razonamiento lógico, parte esencial en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. La lectura es un mecanismo primario que alienta a los estudiantes a desarrollar habilidades que les permitan comprender textos, hacer una revisión cuidadosa y desarrollarse en el entorno en el que operan. En consecuencia, los profesores deben inculcar una cultura de lectura en los estudiantes para aumentar sus habilidades de lectura al aplicar metodologías que se basan en la realidad sociocultural en la que operan. Por lo tanto, en esta investigación se presenta el problema bajo investigación y a través de observaciones en el sitio la situación actual podría generar una falta de interés en la lectura con los estudiantes. Del mismo modo, puede ver y distinguir la información teórica que permite conocer en detalle las variables que componen el proyecto de investigación y la base sobre la que se asienta. Además, la metodología utilizada para obtener la información necesaria sobre el problema, así como el análisis de los resultados obtenidos al realizar las encuestas y permitir la formulación de las conclusiones y recomendaciones. Finalmente, se hace referencia a la propuesta con sus respectivos componentes; que busca ayudar a los estudiantes a desarrollar habilidades de lectura y, a su vez, elevar el nivel académico de la misma.
